**DESCRIPTION**

- This activity is about Graphing Linear Function given two points.
- Knowledge on the Parts of Cartesian Plane is an advantage.
- They will be exposed to a series of online assessments/tests.
- They will be required to download presentation files and documents.
- Some activities are only for registered students of the author’s class, while some take a similar test without entering the class by simply clicking on the different options on the page that will be displayed by the link.

**EXPECTATIONS**

- At the end of the series of activities, they are expected to attain mastery level in the following:
- clear understanding of the Parts of Cartesian Plane;
- using the PC in taking an online test on plotting points on the Cartesian Plane;
- plotting points on the Cartesian Plane using graphing paper;
- making a presentation using any available presentation program.

**ACTIVITY #3**:

This section will require students to make a simple presentation file showing the graph of a linear function given two points. A rubric will be used for rating the project and be made available for reference.

**CHALLENGE:**

This section offers the students an online assessment at http://www.thatquiz.org/

which will automatically process the results. Such assessment is only for the registered students of the author.

Compared with Activity #1, this is time bound.

- This activity is intended for students who want to experience Graphing a Linear Function given two points.
- Knowledge of the parts of Cartesian Plane is an advantage.
- In the duration, you will be exposed to a series of online assessments/tests which requires you to click button in response to the questions given.
- There are instances in which you will be required to download presentation files and documents as other instructional materials.
- Furthermore, Activity #1 and #3 are only for registered students of the author ‘s class. Anyone can take a similar test without entering the class by simply clicking on the

- On the new page, look for the students’ field on the center. Click the
drop down arrowand look for your name on the list andclick.- Enter your password on the
password field.- Below the page. Answer the 20-item online examination.
- Use the mouse to navigate the cursor.
- When you are done answering the test, you may click the
Finishbutton to view the results of your exam.- The results are composed of 2 tables, one is the statistical result and analysis of the test, and the other is the incorrect responses.
- You may click on any point which you missed and eventually the correct answer will be reflected on the Cartesian Plane above.
- If your score is below 75%, you have to retake the test without entering the class. Just click on the following link.http://www.thatquiz.org/
- Click on the
PointsLink at the center of the page.- Again, use the mouse to navigate the cursor in taking the test.
- When you are done taking the test, you will be prompted if you want to see the correct and incorrect responses.
- If you opted to continue taking the test, you will not be able to progress unless you are able to click the exact location of the point on the Cartesian Plane.
- Close the webpage window if you are done with this activity.

- In Geometry, one of the theories states that,
“Two points determine a line.”- It clearly implies that given any 2 points, a
linecan be formed by connecting those 2 points.

4. (0,-2), (4,-1)
